Feminist jewelry
Since 2018, I'm making earrings and hangers together with my girlfriend. These pieces are made to create a statement. It's all about breaking taboos and starting conversations.
Have a visit at our Etsy shop!It all started when I started experimenting with some old, leftover resin. I wanted to make some stained glass effect and it worked surprisingly well.
Soon my girlfriends imagination was sparked. I showed her how to work with CAD, design for 3D printing and I helped her to create whatever she wanted to make. We kept on improving the technique to cast the glitter resin safely, accurately and, most challenging, smoothly into the 3D prints.
The result is a wide range of unique and expressive earrings and Christmas tree ornaments and we have been shipping these all around the world. People love it.
Glitters are bad, because it's all plastic and the particles are tiny; They go everywhere, and never go away. We use second-hand glitter - glitter that people would otherwise throw away - to have a positive environmental impact. By encapsulating the glitter in a thermoharder resin, we ensure the microplastics stay where they are forever, until it's incinerated.
